The Bombay Sorter is a cam-driven, double-disc tray sorter that uses vertical door opening to release parcels. Unlike cross-belt or tilt-tray, the tray rotates along a continuous cam curve, so light poly-bags (50 g) and dense cartons (8 kg) slide out gently—no free-fall, no damage, no waiting.

Why It’s Different
Double-disc cam — twice the discharge points of a cross-belt, no belt change-over
Vertical door opening — gravity does the work; no motor on each tray → zero daily maintenance
Continuous cam curve — parcel weight does NOT affect drop trajectory; light mailers land softly
Reuse chute logic — WCS allocates left + right side every 2 s → 31 k pph without extra steel
Mechanical-only tray — no electronics, no sensors, no spare parts → <0.01 % error rate
Send us your parcel profile & peak targets — we’ll simulate picks/h, head-count saved, 3-D layout and ROI within 48 hours. Let gravity do the sorting—you just watch the numbers climb.
